Writing Project!

I am so excited! Today I got word that I got into this Invitational Writing Project. I will be among 20 other teachers sharing my own writing and working on how to improve children's writing. The project is less of a course and more of a writer's group. I've been dying to do something like this for a long time.

The first day is this Saturday. Then, I attend 7 days in a row starting June 25. Finally, there are 4 more Saturdays in the Fall. I can take different pathways depending on what my writing goals are...teaching, publishing, or professional writing.

I think this is going to change me and how I think. I really can't wait.

    2. It will be intense, but it will be one of the best professional development opportunities you'll ever experience. You'll learn so much more than just how to be a better writing teacher. It's simply rock solid sound pedagogy! I'm excited for you and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it. Woohoo!
