I closed one door and look at that window...

So I cancelled my course today and let me tell you they don't make it easy. "Did you open an email account with us?" "Um no, I haven't even taken a course." "Oh, well you can't drop the course without an account." "But I am not taking the course so there isn't a reason to open the account." "You have to open an account." This went on for longer than most people would have put up with it. I kept feeling like SOMEONE would have said, "whoa, I hear you sister. Let's drop that thing right now. Please hold on." But, nope. I opened the account while my kids were at lunch and had that course dropped right the heck off a cliff by 1. Take that!

Anyway, I started my Summer Writing Camp (FREE) yesterday. I created another page off of my blog to keep my writings. You may click here to read but don't be mean because I'm fragile about how I write. Of course, if you like something...COMMENT!!

Finally, a really cool woman I met through my Perfect Picture Book Friday features told me that she'd love to use me as a guinea pig this summer to sort of mentor me through writing a book. I'm doing it! I have wanted to do this my whole life. Unfortunately, I am like Harriet the Spy and must be tamed. Enter Susanna Hill. I'm going to do what she says and see where it takes me.

Can you feel the breeze from the window? I think summer is just a few days away. Sometimes it's okay to shut that door.
