Even my Picky Reader daughter loved the Haddix Among the Hidden series, even if they become a little samey after 5 or 6 books! You should have a fun week of reading.
oh my, The Rough-Face Girl is a book I remember from my childhood. Mostly because the cover completely freaked me out! LOVE Bud, Not Buddy, so fun. I think I would really enjoy Ida B. as I loved True(--sort of). Still have never read Among the Hidden. It's a book I REALLY need to get to.
The Rough-Face Girl was one I used when teaching, to show how different cultures can have the same story (Cinderella, in this case). I also enjoyed Bud, Not Buddy, though not my favorite by Curtis. The Watsons Go to Birmingham and The Mighty Miss Malone are my favorites.
You have some very fun books on your list. One of my students is currently reading The False Prince. I thought it was great.
